How should I properly maintain the hair

- If there is a distinct smell or odor to the hair, please co-wash the hair prior to installation. This scent sometimes come from the steaming process that both sanitizes the extensions and helps them achieve their uniformed wave pattern. 

Recommended products to remove odor are liquid fabric softener and/or Crème of Nature Argon Oil Perfect 7 (7-n-1 leave-in treatment). You may use Perfect 7 on dry hair, but please allow the hair to dry fully before styling or installing. Please follow Youtube link for fabric softener tutorial.

• wear a satin head scarf to bed.
• co-wash the hair a minimum of every 2 weeks in lukewarm water (suggested product Joico for dry and coarse hair with Silicone Mix)
• shampoo hair only when product buildup is noticeable and with a moisturizing shampoo
• use heat on hair as little as possible, and when heat is necessary, use a lightweight heat protectant
• we highly suggest only licensed cosmetologist color extensions
• use minimum products in hair (suggested product is Argon Oil)
